The main hall is accessible via steps or from a short path from Bethel Place. This is where our main Sunday Service is held. Ramoth also has a street level entrance to the Lower Hall from Davies Row. This is where most midweek events are held including Foodbank. The Car Park is behind Hirwaun Library, and about 35 meters from Ramoth.
On Wednesday we hold our Prayer and Bible Study on ZOOM (see links). We sometimes have a Guest Speaker or Study Series. |
Prior to the Covid-19 lockdown we also held two mid-week outreaches. These have sadly not restarted due to dwindling numbers.
Little Lambs was a Parent & Toddler group that met on Mondays (but not School Holidays) between 9:30 -11:30. Children (and parents) met to socialise and play with others. Activities included toys and push-alongs, table top puzzles, colouring and Crafts. There was time for snacks (toast/fruit) and a drink. Any birthdays were celebrated with a card, cake and the singing of "Happy Birthday". Finally a story time and "action song" with a Christian theme concluded the event. Even the adults enjoyed it! Almond Tree was a lunch club intended to help those who are unable to get out and meet others. It is conducted under a Christian ethos, and following a time to socialise and eat with friends, we try to fulfil a spiritual need with a short talk or video particularly for those who are unable to attend Sunday Services. We sometimes "break-out" and go for a carvery, or a trip to the seaside depending on the time of year. |
